It is with great sorrow that we learned of the passing of artist and friend, Ohotaq Mikkigak. He passed away in his home in Cape Dorset on October 29, 2014. Our thoughts are with his family and community during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

Congratulations to Inuit artists Shuvinai Ashoona and Ohotaq Mikkigak who will be represented at SITElines 2014: Unsettled Landscapes. A combination of existing works and new commissions, SITE Santa Fe selected 45 promising contemporary artists to participate in the “reimagined biennial exhibition series“. SITElines will take place from July 20, 2014 – January 11, 2015.
