  • Exhibition: Treasures from Private Collections

    Feheley Fine Arts 65 George Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

    Within a private collection one might find a variety of treasures. In this exhibition, we are pleased to present such work in the form of sculpture. From small quirky characters to exquisitely carved depictions of Arctic wildlife, these works represent a dynamic assortment of excellent Inuit sculpture collected since the 1970s, coming to the gallery from various private collections.

    This exhibition spotlights exquisitely drawn night scenes by Johnny Pootoogook. Executed in chalk pastel on black paper, Pootoogook has masterfully captured the calm glow that emits from Kinngait at night—whether from street lights, house windows, or the subtle hues of the aurora borealis.

  • Meet the Artist: Qavavau Manumie

    Feheley Fine Arts 65 George Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

    Manumie will be in town from Kinngait to celebrate the release of the 2022 Annual Cape Dorset Print Collection. Both an artist and master printmaker, Manumie holds years of experience working at the Kinngait Studios helping to produce print collections annually. Several of his images are included in this year’s release.
