Exhibition: Textiles by Annie Taipana
Feheley Fine Arts 65 George Street, Toronto, OntarioAlongside Maudie Okittuq’s fantastical sculptures, we are pleased to introduce a new series of wall-hangings by textile artist, Annie Taipana. Taipana’s distinctive wall-hangings are defined by whirlwind compositions of arctic animals, executed in brightly coloured applique and intricately layered stitchwork. Originally from Qamani’tuaq, Taipana now resides in Rankin Inlet where she continues her artistic practice.
