Coming this spring: the much-anticipated solo exhibition for Kinngait artist, Johnny Pootoogook. Pootoogook turned heads with his large-scale Raven drawings at Art Toronto in 2019. Now, we are pleased to present his first solo exhibition. Born into an artistic family, Pootoogook has been involved with the Kinngait Studios since childhood and, over the past decade, has placed a particular focus on drawing. Since then, Pootoogook has generated a diverse body of work that reflects on life in the North, executed in a meticulous drawing style.
