We are pleased to present Darcie Bernhardt’s first solo exhibition: Darcie Bernhardt – Akisuktuaq. Bernhardt’s paintings draw on the theme of intergenerational memory, engaging the perspectives of her grandmother, mother, and herself. Using her own personal archives as a source of reference, Bernhardt’s works reflect the ever-changing quality of memories as they transmit from one generation to the next.
