In this solo exhibition of new large scale drawings, Kinngait artist Quvianaqtuk Pudlat takes wildlife imagery to a new dimension. An avid hunter, Pudlat’s depictions of Arctic fauna are infused with his admiration for and intimate knowledge of animal anatomy and behaviour. In this new series Pudlat expands his scale to monumental sizes and incorporates techniques of repetition and symmetry in eye-catching ways.
