Feheley Fine Arts is pleased to present our first solo exhibition of Montreal-based artist, Lyne Bastien. Bastien’s work has been shown at the gallery previously as part of the Ivujivik Collective, including multiple series of prints made in collaboration with artists Passa Mangiuk, Qumaq Iyaituk, Mary Paningajak, and Louisa Kanarjuak. In Dormance / Dormancy, Bastien explores the incredible stillness of the North in winter, where she lived for six years. The show features a new series of delicate coloured pencil drawings.
