Exhibition: Life by the River – William Noah (1943-2020)
March 6 - March 27
Graphic artist William Noah led a prolific art career that lasted nearly five decades. Working in the media of acrylic paint and coloured pencil, Noah was best-known for depicting scenes of his community of Qamani’tuaq. Today, in addition to his renown as an artist, Noah’s legacy lives on as a prominent member of his community. This retrospective exhibition is the first since Noah’s passing in 2020, and will feature a selection of never-before-seen works by the artist.
