The annual Toronto International Art Fair (Art Toronto) is well underway at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. After hours of installation and a successful opening night gala, Feheley Fine Arts is looking forward to a weekend in Booth 700.

For the second year in a row, the Art Gallery of Ontario has purchased artwork from Feheley Fine Arts. Last year, the AGO bought Itee Pootoogook‘s ‘Water Tank,’ and this year, we are proud to announce the AGO’s purchase of Shuvinai Ashoona‘s drawing ‘Shovelling Worlds.’

Our largest booth in our fourteen-year history at ART TORONTO is stocked with impressive drawings by Itee Pootoogook, Jutai Toonoo, Shuvinai Ashoona, and Tim Pitsiulak among others.

Feheley Fine Arts is happy to bring the works of artist Saimaiyu Akesuk to Art Toronto for the first time. She is a young, emerging artist from Cape Dorset, and her stonecut ‘Reflection’ can be seen on the cover of the 2013 Cape Dorset Annual Print Collection. All of Saimaiyu Akesuk’s works at the Feheley Fine Arts booth were sold out within the very first hour of the Art Toronto Opening Gala. She was also mentioned on the Morning Show on Global News in association with the Toronto International Art Fair.

Feheley Fine Arts will be in Booth 700 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre until Monday, October 28, 2013. If you can’t make it to Art Toronto, all of the works for sale in our booth are now available on our website.
