Tanya Tagaq’s latest CD, Animism, was awarded the Polaris Prize for best Canadian album. The album was originally launched in May 2014 with a private party at Feheley Fine Arts.

The Globe and Mail described Animism as a “wordless protest album, semi-improvised sonic sculpture and confronting, grunting, living, breathing, channelling, whirlwind piece of art.”
