Art specialist Ingo Hessel, author of the book “Inuit Art”, encouraged senior Arviat sculptors to develop a new series of original drawings over the past year. The stunning results will be illustrated in an exhibition brochure, including work by Marc Alikaswa, Luke Anowtalik, Mary Ayaq Anowtalik, Jacob Irkok, and Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok. Artists Luke Anowtalik and Mary Ayaq Anowtalik will join us in Toronto to discuss their new work.
