March 8th – 11th marked Feheley Fine Art’s second year participating in the New York based art fair, Art on Paper. Located at Manhattan’s Pier 36, this year the fair exhibited top modern and contemporary paper-based art from 80 international galleries.
This year, we chose to display the work of mid-career artist Ningiukulu Teevee, and emerging artists Padloo Samayualie and Ooloosie Saila. By including a number of prints and drawings from the 60’s and 70’s, our presentation aimed to contextualize the work of a younger generation of Inuit artists, and to show the development of artwork produced in the Canadian Arctic over the past 60 years.
Feheley Fine Arts would like to thank everyone who came to visit our booth at Art on Paper 2018. It was wonderful to connect with new and existing friends in New York and beyond!
