Tim Pitisulak, talented artist and beloved community leader, passed away in late 2016. On Thursday, July 13 2017, we gathered at Feheley Fine Arts to celebrate his life. Family members from across the arctic, artists, curators, admirers and others joined to pay tribute and remember the late artist.

Surrounded by a selection of Tim’s work, memories and remarks were shared by various guests. Speakers included collector and art consultant, Steve Smart, curator, Sarah Milroy, and Executive Director of Open Studio, Jennifer Bhogal, Tim’s sisters, Saa and Peesee, as well as his wife, Mary. It is clear his work touched many and will continue to do so, cementing a legacy that will forever be a part of the Canadian Art fabric.
