Kiugak Ashoona was a respected elder, lifelong artist, and friend to many. He passed away on December 3rd, 2014 in Ottawa. Our thoughts are with his friends and community.
It is with great sorrow that we learned of the passing of artist and friend, Ohotaq Mikkigak. He passed away in his home in Cape Dorset on October 29, 2014. Our thoughts are with his family and community during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

Tanya Tagaq’s latest CD, Animism, was awarded the Polaris Prize for best Canadian album. The album was originally launched in May 2014 with a private party at Feheley Fine Arts.
