An accomplished sculptor, jewelry-maker and photographer, Pitsiulak is best known for the extraordinary drawings that have made him one of the most sought-after contemporary Inuit artists.

Pitsiulak divides his time between drawing and hunting. His respect for the wildlife in his region is evident in his large scale drawings capturing the images of walrus, whales, bears and seals. Pitsiulak also expresses admiration for his ancestors by including images from early Inuit culture superimposed on his drawings. He continues to challenge himself as an artist, working in different, varying scale, perspective and media. Since 2009, Pitsiulak has had four highly successful solo shows at Feheley Fine Arts.
