Samayualie is relatively new to the Kinngait Studio stable of artists, but her drawings show more and more confidence as she works out her own unique approach to both traditional and contemporary subjects.

In 2001, she travelled to Banff for a drawing workshop and later, in 2007, took part in the National Film Board animation workshop in Cape Dorset. Feheley Fine Arts introduced drawings by Padloo Samayualie for the first time at Art Toronto 2015, followed by an exhibition in January of 2016 along with the drawings of her sister, Nicotye Samayualie.

Her images are sometimes based on photographs, sometimes on memory and often simply on her keen observation of the world around her. Precise detail is combined with an excellent sense of colour in these drawings which are primarily based on the landscape and architecture of the Cape Dorset area.
